About Us

Wing Zone Southland Drive is conveniently located near the University of Kentucky and delivers throughout the Lexington area. Wing Zone has strong ties to Lexington and is quickly becoming engrained in the community.  This location opened in July of 2000 and has become the place to go for wings.  Wing Zone delivers to local businesses and neighborhoods around the Lexington area.  If you’ve been to Rupp Arena this year you’ve probably seen our kiosk near the student section.  During our busy hours, odds are you’ve seen our delivery drivers serving amazing flavor right to our customers’ door.  Wings are the perfect party accessory whether you’re watching the game (football or basketball) or binge watching Netflix.  Go Wildcats!

Wing Zone (Lexington, KY) added an event.

On Wednesday, December 6th, Wing Zone will be giving away 5 free boneless wings to guest, and bringing attention to the Ben Abercrombie Fund #StandUpForBen. Wing Zone will also donate $1 for every 5 free boneless wings we give away on Dec 6th to the Ben Abercrombie Fund. The Free Boneless Wing Day promotion will take place at all domestic Wing Zone locations! No purchase necessary, and limit one 5 free boneless wings per customer.

Ben Abercrombie was a standout athlete and student at Hoover High School. He was recruited to play football at Harvard University and received an academic scholarship. Tragically, Abercrombie was paralyzed from the neck down during a play in his very first collegiate game as a safety with the team on Saturday, September 16. After being rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, the medical team performed successful surgery to repair his damaged vertebrae. However, the injury still left Ben without the use of his arms or legs.

Those hoping to help support the Abercrombie family can donate to the Ben Abercrombie Fund set up at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hoover by selecting the Ben Abercrombie Fund in the drop-down menu here: www.ctkbham.org/donate
