About Us

Wing Zone has been serving amazing & authentic flavor since 1991. Fraternity brothers & co-founders Matt Friedman and Adam Scott saw a need for an alternative to pizza delivery on the campus of the University of Florida. To fill this void, Matt and Adam took over their fraternity house kitchen to perfect their special sauces and techniques, and developed the Wing Zone concept.

Today, Wing Zone has over 100 locations in the U.S. and internationally. Our authentic flavors are the product of years of research development and award winning acclaim. We pride ourselves on delivering quality food to our loyal customers, which we affectionately call our “Flavorholics”. Go ahead and take a look at our full-flavored menu – Wings, Chicken Tenders, Chicken Sandwiches, Burgers, and more. All fuzed with flavor.

The Feed

Wing Zone (Columbia, SC) added an event.

On Wednesday, December 6th, Wing Zone will be giving away 5 free boneless wings to guest, and bringing attention to the Ben Abercrombie Fund #StandUpForBen. Wing Zone will also donate $1 for every 5 free boneless wings we give away on Dec 6th to the Ben Abercrombie Fund. The Free Boneless Wing Day promotion will take place at all domestic Wing Zone locations! No purchase necessary, and limit one 5 free boneless wings per customer.

Ben Abercrombie was a standout athlete and student at Hoover High School. He was recruited to play football at Harvard University and received an academic scholarship. Tragically, Abercrombie was paralyzed from the neck down during a play in his very first collegiate game as a safety with the team on Saturday, September 16. After being rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, the medical team performed successful surgery to repair his damaged vertebrae. However, the injury still left Ben without the use of his arms or legs.

Those hoping to help support the Abercrombie family can donate to the Ben Abercrombie Fund set up at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hoover by selecting the Ben Abercrombie Fund in the drop-down menu here:
